Topic: Back to more than 600 list email messages (4 msgs / 65 lines)
1) From: Jim Gundlach
I just got back from a week on the outer bank of Virginia without any
internet access. Adding a day driving there and a day driving back it
makes nine days, I came back to more than 600 home roaster emails. I
will skip the Behmor related ones since I don't expect to buy one for
a good while, that should knock it down to only 400 or so. This is
almost like returning to grading papers.

Pecan Jim,
I think you are underestimating the number of Behmor related posts. Created
quite a bit of excitement on the list. You may only have 200 or so to go
through. The pile is getting shorter...

A week without internet... that would be either totally relaxing.. or would
drive me up a wall! (Hard to remember the days withoutcomputers even,
never mind constant internet access - not that I canremember those
days... ; > })
This is almost like returning to grading papers.
All I ask is that I'm graded on a curve...

There's a curve on I-70 coming down out of the Rockies west of Denver. I had
a '66 XKE and straightened that mutha out on the way back from Las Vegas.
Empirically, I found I was using less than 12.5% of the crankshaft
horsepower at 80mph on the flat and level. We exceeded that speed coasting
down the pike. -ro

Don't grade while driving- the Nectar would be OK while grading...
