Greetings all,
I discovered coffee roasting only three months ago and feel as if I have =
discovered hidden gold. I joined this list only recently. I read in the =
October archives that a few DC-area people (prompted by Mr. Crippen) =
were getting together to roast. I live right in DC and would appreciate =
knowing about future get togethers.
Thanks!

Joel,
Welcome to the good life! We still have a DC-roast pending. I've done a
couple of demo's for my new friends out here (just moved here this summer),
but would still like to have a "pro" meeting sometime.

Hey, it's good to see more local roasters :)
I'd love to have a get together sometime! I'm in Northern VA.
BTW, if you're looking for really great brewed coffee, I HIGHLY
recomend Brew Mountain coffee. They're true artisans, and pull a
double ristretto that is unbelievable. Out in Purcellville, VA, and
not open on Sundays, so they're a little inconvenient, but oh-so-good.

And, I too, living just outside DC, in VA would love to get
together. Perhaps as the winter hits us we can decide to warm things
up a bit with a bout of roasting and good talk.
