I created a couple more folders for filing pictures:http://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20Registered Users not only can upload from your desktop but also
create new categories (folders). I didn't put anything in the
espresso folder yet, but there should definitely be subcategories in
there, as well as the others.

Tom,
Looks good. I see the login tab in the upper right corner, but can't see
where to register.

I can't get logged in. Doesn't want to accept list registration and I
don't see any place to register again.

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
The login won't accept my password or username - I don't know which is
purportedly incorrect. So, in the event I've suddenly lost my memory (it
happens once in a while), I requested it be sent to me and it's the same
one I'm trying to login with... And I'm pretty sure I know my username.

John,
This has been happening to me for the last several years. Maybe it all
started when I changed ISP's about 3 years ago, and twice since then. I
am just glad to be receiving messages from this list, but my password
and user name never work to make purchases.
Delete, re register, change password, resubscribe, redelete, email
Derrick.. nuthin works.
It looks like it's fixed on their end, but does not work for me. Guess I
need to be more persistent in getting it fixed, because this new site
looks great! So far I have just been happy ordering without logging in.
Please let me know if you get your issue resolved.

Tom,
I don't know if you're the techie behind this, but Gallery is one of the
best open source web apps I've seen. I've been using it since version
1.3, and I now have about 5 instances running on my server (in
multi-site configuration). Thanks for getting this out there.

I like it too! I have a bunch of tweaks I want to do to the theme ...
but that will have to wait until the christmas rush settles down.
Another big issue is the server. If you are familiar, it uses a lot
of MySQL database resources and if its on a loaded-down shared server
it just is frustrating. I put this site on a virtual private server
for the sql, and it seems to run better. In fact, I didn't even
announce the site until this happened, because it ran so poorly
before the switch. When I can safely move it, I will, so it will be
under a sweetmarias domain.

OK, I screwed up and put a photo in community photos, but not in a
folder in it (eeps). I sure would like to know how to move it.

I think I allowed people to move them around. If not, I can easily
re-file photos next time I get a minute to go ... but things are
pretty crazy here. We are actually better off than any previous year,
shipping orders that were places as late as this AM. But I know come
next week it will be tense again. Vacation, where art thou?
Tom
PS: are you all getting 4x the spam too ... another downside to the holidays...
