Just pulled my first shots of this yesterday and it was awesome. I roasted 3 different 1/4lb batches to see where it did best as a stand alone SO shot and I think I liked the Full City roast the best. Lots of chocolate and nut flavors- almond and... peanut? maybe? And then fruit on the finish, but I'm not sure what fruit... almost like mango and grape... Mainly I'm just really glad I quit smoking a few weeks ago... my palette has gotten so much better in just about a month it's ridiculous... and don't tell anyone, because they already think I'm really nuts about coffee, but it was the main reason why I quit.

Thanks for sharing, BrYan. This is one of my favorites too. I have
some of the current crop, just haven't roasted it yet, but last year I
really liked the dark chocolate with the dark fruit, like plum, etc.
Congrats on quiting smoking ...
Eddie

This is my staple Brazil for now. I've loved the consistency of the roasts.
The fruit I get on this is cherry ... chocolate & cherry, mmmm.
I have a number of customers who don't like "bitter" coffee. The BMF is the
bean I suggest to them.
cheers,
Scott

I offered this up to a lady that comes into the shop every day and she said, "This is my favorite one so far." It's funny because the day before I gave her a double normale of Cameroon and she said, "This is my favorite so far." Before that it was the Sumatra Classic Mandheling... I like this hobby... :0)

I have some will try it today.Makes a good brewed coffee. Taste stays with
you for more than an hour. Hang in there with the smoking. January 6 will be
a year for me and it is still an issue. More of an annoyance than an urge
but, unfortunately, still an issue.

It's never too big of an issue for me. I have been smoking for about 5 years and had a 1 1/2 year break in the middle. I "quit" cold turkey, on Turkey day (it was just too perfect) and have had 4 since, 1 the day after, 2 three days after and 1 more 5 days after that. Not bad considering it was usually 17-25(ish) a day. I have so much more money for greens now!

I/m learning a lot from your posts, Bryan! Thank you! What Behmor setting=
s are you using for the 1/4 pound roasts? I would like to be able to stret=
ch the interval between first and second cracks for better control. I roas=
t 90G batches. Have you found any reliable profiles for these?
