I'm at 4 months, 2 weeks, 4 days... I did Chantix and only look back during
high stress times, but know you can beat it... and your set!

I think the thing that keeps me most honest right now is I am pretty sure my
finance has said she will murder me for my insurance money if I start
again... *scratches head* LOL... why is it when you quit smoking which is
really something you do only for yourself... and really only do by yourself
it always becomes about another person? Funny how that works...
Anyway, anyone who reads this, this was my 5th attempt to quit... the first
4 went horrible... Chantix was really a life saver when it came to quiting,
and it made the process much easier.

the help of Chantix. It sure made it easier on me as this time he wasn't
grouchy. He quit with me 20 years ago this January and stayed quit for 9
years. He's quit so many times since. I will be celebrating my 20 yr
abstinence from cigarettes and alcohol in 18 days. Funny though, about 9
years ago, I got pissed off at Dan because he was smoking, bought a pack of
cigarettes and told him I was going to start again. That pack is still
sitting in my jewelry box unopened.
I've wanted one many times, but the desire passes. It was very intense when
I my daughter had her first baby 6 years ago. I took turns with her husband
being her breathing coach. When it was time for him to take over and me to
have a break, I had an intense desire for a cigarette. I've even dreamed I
was smoking and realized what I was doing, threw it on the ground and
stomped it out.
My secret was NEVER having another cigarette. Not even one.
Good luck.
