Anyone out there tried this Costa Rican Coffee? I got it in my sampler =
from Tom and liked it so much I just bought 5 lbs of it. Based on Tom's =
review I expected it to be good but not nearly as good as it was. =
Bright sweet at the beginning with a wonderful chocolate finish at FC. =
Certainly one of my favorites this year.

This is one of my favorites. I roast in the IR2 and have found a
nice profile that does wonders. I believe the beans are too small
for the Behmor, but that doesn't matter, it is great in the IR2. I,
too, first got it in a sampler, then got a pound of it, wishing I had
bought more. It is on my list to buy 10 pounds of once I get my
stash down a ways.
Excellent choice this little bean is.

Every time I roast Aged Sumatra or Harar Horse Lot 30 in the Behmor, I
run a couple of 1-lb. cooling cycles and then put the "dropouts" in a
little cup. When I have one white i-R "measure" full, I'll roast them
on Preset 1 in the i-R2 and see what happens. Still would rather have
that finer-mesh drum, though....
