It may be to late to get much input this week but I can HOPE.
What I would love to see happen is that folks they have ordered this weeks
roast from SM which happens to be a
Kenya AA Nyeri - Gachatha Coop
Will talk about it on line.
To get it to work it would be great if some of those who do this often can
help us learn to see, smell and taste the things that Tom list about the
coffee.  It would be very much a cupping but done many many places.  If it
works then we could plan say one a month.  I would certainly like to do it
two or three weeks in a row to really get my ability moving forward.  I know
I may never get this kind of chance to drink the same coffee, roasted the
same way, rested the same amount and drink with the possibility of so many
masters of the trade.  Please join in if you can!
Even better would be if some of you had the coffee Tom roasted and some you
roasted it as well.  Here the possibility of different roasters could really
play into the cupping.  We have talked about different roasters bringing out
different things in a coffee.
Perhaps its been done on this list before but I couldn't find it.  And even
if its been done on the list before I didn't get to play.
