Topic: Rental or help in CA? Tom? (3 msgs / 146 lines)
1) From: Treshell
I started with a letter to Tom/ SM but then I couldn't find their phone
number to check back with them. I'm hoping Tom sees this and responds.
The Monks that I work with have just been given a 20x20 spot in a trade
show. But I know no one in CA to help them. Any ideas you folks come up
with over night would be great. Father really hates to say no to these
folks. To keep it SM -- All of you should know that I share all of my
coffee with the Monks and we all learn from Tom and all at SM. Brother
Michel will be sharing with me the coffee once a month in Tom's new roastin=
g
forms.
Attention, Urgent we really need your help on this one.
I am in a terrible bind to say the least.

Yes this month! http://www.catholicmarketing.com/tradeshow.shtmlIım not sure where to go with this, especially this fast???? But I
can think of no where else to ask.
The show will "feature a full exhibit floor of 250 booths filled with the
latest in Catholic books, music, jewelry, statuary, religious articles and
gift items. Show attendees will have the opportunity to network with
Catholic professionals involved in the production and distribution of a wid=
e
range of Catholic products and services."

OK - so - any members from the Inland Empire, Southern California? This
trade show is in Ontario - so, who can get out there? Does anyone know of
restaurant supply, or even someone who might be able to bring an Espresso
cart for a fee?
I used to be there - now I am in (0 degree) No Temp, Iowa.... So I have
nothing to offer...
Anybody in SoCal with some ideas?

I've already replied to Treshell off list. Might be a fun few days for me =
next week if the monks are interested. I don't have the best espresso setu=
p, but could demo Chemex, Hario vacuum, French Press and Moka pot in additi=
on to the occasional espresso from my little Gaggia. I could probably even=
pick up an Aeropress for the occasion. Most people have no idea all the o=
ptions they have for coffee and are not interested in investing hundreds if=
not thousands of dollars. They might learn that you can get quite a nice =
cup of fauxpresso (pronounce that like my grandpa in Kansas and it sounds l=
ike fox-spresso) from a Moka pot or Aeropress - way better than that old Mr=
. Coffee on the counter. At least I do have a decent Rocky and Super Jolly=
 for the setup.
