Topic: 2007 Beans - Colombia El Descanso (3 msgs / 58 lines)
1) From: Florida Randy
After getting the Z&D for Christmas 2006 I began laying in beans. When
I'd get half way thru a bag...then 1 and 2 pound bags...i'd set the bags
i liked aside to enjoy later. As you know they were soon buried under
the new 2 lb....then 5 lb bags.
After getting the Behmor for Christmas 2007 I dug back thru the coffee
stash since I knew many of these oldies but goodies would now be 1 batch
lots for the Behmor. Last weekend I ran across about 12 oz of Columbia
Cup of Excellence #12 El Descanso....and almost a year to the day I'm
sitting here enjoying my second cup of the morning....sweet chocolate
with fruited and floral tones, plum wine finish.
Life is good. SM is da bomb. Thanks Joe for bringing us the Behmor.

Ah, yes, Randy!
I remember the Colombia COE #12 - El Descanso quite well; I even
enjoyed it more than the #3 El Placer. To date, that has been my
favorite Colombian coffee and probably one of my top five. What an
exquisite elixir that was ...
Thanks for bringing up that fond memory!
Good Coffee to You!
