That looks like just the thing.
Anyone have interest in working on an embedded controller coffee
roaster project with me?
I'm thinking of a controller with outputs to control a roaster - heat
and fan (high, medium, low, off), inputs for temp, weight (pre and
post roast).
The hardware control is half of the vision.
The other half is a database which will drive inputs to the roasting
algorithms, maintain stock of the stash, print labels, keep roasting
logs, etc.
The idea is that the hardware module could be adapted to a variety of
roasters, homebrew or otherwise, configured according to the hardware
available, and tuned in to acheive repeatable results.
Yes, I'm nuts. I have no time, but I have a vision :)
Still in the initial planning stages....
