Personally, I'll take the middle road and say I like the dry weather with
moderate temps -- like Denver! Used to live there and loved it, but
then...here I am in Iowa (where it's humid, but rather than hot or cold...we
get BOTH! The worst of both worlds.)

So, Dave...
When and where in Denver?
I'm a transplant from Arvada/Westminster area about 6 years ago.
Agreed, Denver is a pretty nice place to be independently wealthy. Sad
to say I'm not, so ended up taking a job with Maytag in Iowa.
Yep, I'm that clever...............:-( Did learn a lot though.
But life in the weeds is frequently ok, sometimes better. No traffic I
like, and no debts. And a 5-acre retreat in the country with my closest
neighbor 1/2 mile away is >good<.

Lived in Estes Park in 1978, Wheat Ridge in 1981-82. Learned what was
important in life while in Estes, about the best smothered burritos while in
Denver, and about the best coffee here in Iowa (Thanks, Brett!).
