Most of us live here in the vast Midwest because it is not packed with
100s of people per square foot. There are more reasons but that will do .

Rich you are oh so right! AND the snow will melt, a new season will come,
and I will be yet again amazed that I get to live in paradise!
Drop in folks, we got room in the MidWest, and in my house there's a
guestroom...

We have Disney... I'll stick to Florida...or at least dream about in from
the epicenter of Marineness Jacksonville NORTH CAROLINA. I miss Florida.
A by product of the Global War on Terror - Lance Corporals in the Marine
Corps with wayyyy more money then a 22 year old kid should have access to
and not enough time to spend it between 7 month tours to Iraq - driving
Range Rovers or Cobras when they are back doing work ups to go back again in
7 months.

Follow up - the beans did not get to first crack. Mrs. Mason claims
AWFULness in her cup...
Today the sun melted the snow so I could roast more on the back patio. In
they went again, this time to almost 2nd crack - except for one popperful
that went to DARK FRENCH....
So I have a black and tan, which made a nice espresso at 1 hr. rest....
Mrs. Mason should be happier tomorrow morning...
If Mama aint happy....

I hope Mrs. Mason was happier with her re-roasted espresso. I have been informed by Mr. Bhatti that he does not want to be on the receiving end of my Europiccola espresso until I have mastered it, so it's back to the Gaggia for his drinks. I'm working hard and tossing a lot of espresso and milk in my experiments. Pretty soon the kitchen sink drain will be crying "enough already!"

Mrs. Mason gave a favorable report to yesterday's re-roast. Today's brew,
1 more day rested was even superior!
It's like "Ten Apples Up On Top..."
Do you like my roast?
No I do not like your roast.
Do you like my roast?
Yes I like your roast.
I like your roast under a tree,
I like your roast when it is free,
I like your roast out in the sun,
Iowa - What sun?
I like your roast out in the snow,
I like your roast where the wind chill blows,
I like your roast when I am cold
I like your roast when I am old...
Yeah, she likes it better now....
If Mama ain't happy...

Indeed,
She likes your roast in a fine cup,
Don't spill the roast don't mop it up!
She likes your roast when it's day,
It now tastes good instead of hay!
She likes your roast so I've been told,
No more dankness no more mold!
She likes your roast so nice and fresh,
That other stuff just made her retch!
Me thinks she likes you too my friend,
Keep on roasting 'til your journey's end!
(And beyond I would think, heaven without coffee is what I'd call hell:-)

As we get older, our audience ages as well, and the bar lowers....

Brett,
OT Coffee Poetry....
Except that a younger audience doesn't not have the experience to know why
something is funny. Unless their mommy read them Dr. Suess story's like mine
did. Other than children's story's much of what we find funny seems to only
puzzle the younger set "unless" they have developed a fine wit which only
comes from deep and rich seasoning and a good parent plant. I'm starting to
come back to what makes a great coffee.
Good Morning Brett,
