Topic: SCAA Coffee shops Florida ;) (9 msgs / 157 lines)
1) From: Andrew M. Holly
Pardon my typing error in my inquiry last night; it was late, and I was not paying much attention. However, I'll assume that you knew what I meant (SCAA, not SCCA :)).
Andrew
P.S. Let's hope that the Sports Car Club of America does not intend to get into the coffee industry!!

Andrew,
That is really funny. Here I am reading the Post/link to the SCCA thinking
I'm the sleepy fool that can't read.
I'm the guy who asked for the offical definition of an SCAA Cafe'.
I am a member of the SCAA and would like to know more about SCAA certified
cafe's.

S'bux stainless thermal travel press-mug or plastic gas-station travel
mug on the road, Bodum Pavina (for espresso or cappa) and various
souvenir china mugs (mostly pen show mugs, but also Grand Marais (MI),
The Real Kramer (from his NYC bus tour), and drug company mugs).

It really depends on what time of day it is---------
1st espresso must be in green mug from Olympia food co-op, has been for
almost 20 years. Next espresso is a SM, capo cup usually a brown one.
Although the next order will change that - I need a monkey one badly!
During the middle most any is fine. I do find that I can't repeat a brew in
the same cup in the same day. Late at night its a gull one from the great
state of Texas. Traveling is the same and yes I take my favorites with me
even to family. Which is fine because they all have a favorite morning one
they bring. None of us would leave home with out our favorite cup cup and
favorite pillow. I don't drink coffee in the car as I can't divide my
attention between coffee and road.
