For those of us that safely set with our hands wrapped around some of the
greatest coffee in the world we need to be reminded it comes at a price too
great many times.

My guess is that Tom probably knows them as well.
Tom what can you tell us? Can we help through SM?
Tom it reminds me again the world isn't always a safe place. Be careful out
there!!
The mother is left with 11 children! Its only been 10 days.

Treshell,
Thank you very much for this story. It's important we all take note of the
day to day struggles and hazards the farmers are faced with so we can share
like we do here all the joys that come from coffee. I believe we home
roasters are much closer to understanding and caring than the common
uninformed "Joe" on the street. When I get my store open I will go out of my
way to share my knowledge of the work and struggle the small coffee farmers
live so with can proudly call ourselves coffee snobs.
