Topic: Hottop for sale (3 msgs / 39 lines)

For a long time I have lusted after a CCR Hottop, but could never afford one. I tried to figure out a way to build my own, built some of the hardware, and found that I lacked the necessary programming skills to pull it off. I could probably study really hard and learn, but I am too lazy. Anyway, I just made a deal to purchase a used one and I need to sell my regular Hottop. It stared out as an analog model, but about a month ago, I completely rebuilt it as a new B model. I replaced the main board / power supply, the front control panel and the wiring harness. At the same time, I also replaced the heating element and the temperature sensor, so the only original electrical parts are the motors and they function perfectly. I put about $300 into it at that time. I have roasted about 10 batches since the upgrade and I like the control that the new panel gives. I would not have done the upgrade if I'd have known that the CCR would become available, but I could not resist bu
 ying it.
I thought before I list it on eBay, I would offer it to the people on the list. I will include the analog control, main board and old wiring harness, though I don't know what you would do with them. I will also include all the old and new manuals and a re-washed spare rear filter. I am asking $550 + shipping. Contact me off list if interested.

I forgot to mention that this post was approved by Erica at SM.

That should read, "$550 or best offer."
BTW - If you did not know, the B model can be easily upgraded to the P model
by just unplugging the B front panel and plugging in the P front panel. It
is available from Hottop for $200.
