Topic: Astoria Espresso Machine tech needed ASAP in WV. (13 msgs / 221 lines)
1) From: Jason
A friend of mine called that I was trying to help months ago and have her
regularly start servicing her coffee machines. Anyway, she dropped the ball
and her espresso maker is broken. I don't know how broke but since it is
the friend of a friend, said I would throw a hail mary, and see if anyone
knew of someone in the area that does repair/servicing for it.
The machine is an Astoria SAE12. I only see an SAE 2-4 on the website but I
am not sure.
The machine is in West Virginia, somewhere in the neighborhood of Charles
Town.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it.

No problem Jason!
In the old days it took a 7cent stamp, and they would pick up actual
letters. You got your reply in a week or two....
Kind of amazing how we have reset our expectations...

Have you considered asking Astoria for recommendations for authorized
service technicians?http://www.espressobrewer.com/(Where near Charles Town? Personally owned, or cafe? Anywhere I
should visit when I drive out that way?)
Anyway, the closest places I could find in my limited online
searching are:http://www.emrco.com/ (Alexandria, VA) 703-922-3887
Classic Coffee works (Arlington, VA) 703-979-0835
Maybe, but not sure, Tech24 (Alexandria, VA) 703-35403835
Good luck!
(she could always throw the espresso machine away, and I'd take it 8^)

And here we have been told over and over ad nauseam that gmail was
infallible and perfect.
Gmail will deliver your mail right after they finish scanning it for key

Antidisestablishmentarienism has nothing to do with Paraaminobenzoicacid.
Subject machine is probably a fully automatic- a nightmare of some neat
European design. I have no clue.

Eh... this is an old bug... send an email to a list.. you should recive a
copy of it in your inbox... but it loses it... and you only find it in
sent. Anyway, enough about the information collectors at google...
The machine is a cafe system, and they ordered a heating element for it?
*shrug* but it really needs someone to look at it. In the limited time I
had today I tried to find some service reps in that area, but came up
empty.

"You misspelled "antidisestablishmentarianism"
The heck, you say- Isn't it just the opposite of Disestablishmentarianism?
When I first heard it on an episode of the Honeymooners in the 50's, there
was an unabridged dictionary on a pedestal in the living room at "315," and
I looked it up. Need I say I don't exactly remember?
I think Alice had asked Ralph if he could spell it while he was kicked back,
enjoying his cup of coffee. There was some coffee intrigue, and Ralph hurled
the epithet "You're going to the Moon, Alice," while he was shaking his fist
at her. Jackie Gleason and (Audrey Meadows?)
