Any FoodSaver affianado knows you must freeze the coffee before vac bagging
it:-) And hey, FoodSaver bags can go directly from the freezer to simmering
water or the nuker!
You may have a point about a completely full versus partially full thermal
hold. So do you drink an entire 64oz thermal carafe when you get home in the
evening! Then again you may just have stale taste buds:-) Speaking of buds,
please don't tell me you drink Bud too!

Oh, I failed to mention there's also the FoodSaver vac bagged brewed coffee
IV adapter to keep that constant drip drip of the drip/press/vac/ibrik/pour
over/moka pot/espresso going:-)

The new vacpot is like 1.1litre, so holds 2/3 of a Clarity drip pot...
I do think your point of ..."Fresh" does not mean "several hours ago" under
any circumstance... is a very good point, and does not compare with truly
freshly brewed coffee...
Maybe I've been eating too many square-carton-ice-creams lately...

In Singapore, coffee is brewed at hawker food stands, poured into a bag, and
handed to you with a straw...
This is an epicurean delight!
Alas, that was 1987, and my coffee palatte has improved... Not sure how it
would fare today... The Satay was incredible though....
