Does anyone know about these? I saw some used ones for sale with new burrs
installed.

I'm not sure if that's the Rancilio Rocky. But if it is, I use one and am very happy with the doserless version...consistent grind, a workhorse. A few hundred bucks. I made a small modification to help clear out the hopper after each grind. I used an acordian style sink/toilet plunger and cut the bottom down to fit the hopper rim...and cut the top to put the natural hopper cap on. After each grind, I give the punger a few pumps and any remaining grounds came out.

It's not the rocky. A quick look around google shows it to be a
commercial grinder. Looks significantly larger than the Rocky.

It's definitely not a Rocky. It's an $800 plus commercial grinder. Not
intended for home use.

There are three for sale for around $175 on craigslist (boston). It does
look a wee bit big for home use. :)

$175's a terrific deal for an $800 grinder - you may need new burrs for $65,
but life will be good!

My Mazzer Major isn't intended for home use either. It sure works great in
my home! If I ever change grinders it will be another "not intended for
home use." It will be a nice big Conical Burr grinder.

Every time we get into these things I think of the television show "Home
Improvements" With the star going "Power Power" and then invariably winding
up in the ER.
