Dave,
At the moment I am not a NSA or ISU member. There was an idea that my
wife and I might join when we retired a few years ago. However, we
have been too busy catching up on 20 years of projects deferred and
cleaning ranch debris from our 80-acre home site in the west desert of
Utah. Last year would have been a nice time to attend the annual
meeting in Boise, but we had conflicts.
In any event, we should join a good stereo organization and begin to
learn more about the hobby.
Maybe some time spent with macro coffee bean photos would help. Mind
if I borrow your idea for a bit of recreation? With spring on the
near horizon, some stereo macro wild flower pictures would be
appropriate. The possibilities are endless.

I joined the NSA ~ 1977. The back issues of Stereo World were stored
in my basement for many years when the magazine mailings were done by
volunteers in the Columbus OH area.
I used to shoot 3D a bunch when I had more time - but free time is
elusive now.
Maybe when I retire I'll have more time. (I've been at this job ONLY
37 years, 6 months and 10 days!)
Also, deteriorating vison in one eye decreased my enthusiasm for stereo images.
I reckon your area is much more interesting for scenic & wild flower
photos than here in central Ohio.
