My wife has recently discovered that she likes her coffee with fresh grated
nutmeg and cinnamon. It started when I was out of homeroast and was
drinking some less inspiring pre-ground, bagged coffee I found in the
kitchen. I had added the nutmeg and cinnamon (based on my enjoyment of the
Trader Joe's "Holiday" blend) to give it more flavor. She liked it so much
she sheepishly asked if I wouldn't mind adding it to my homeroasted coffee,
the following week. To each their own!

I used to be a cream and sugar guy. I'm diabetic, so now I use a little
sucralose (seems to be the most neutral of the low carb sweeteners;
stevia is OK in other things, but makes my coffee taste weird). A
dollop of heavy cream is a very occasional thing now.
