I finally got my IR2 to extend the roast time a little. I have always had
trouble getting this thing to not roast so fast.
I put it on three extension cords, took it outside to a cooler environment,
and took off the chaff collector lid (not the whole assembly). Well the
results look better. I got a nice C+ roast to go to 8 minutes!! And the 1st
crack was slower, about 2 minutes. I ended the roast about 45 seconds after
first crack. I roasted the *Columbian Supremo Antiquia*. It is resting now
for 48 hours, so I'll let ya'll know how this turned out.
