I just got my Zass knee grinder and started cranking after adjusting to =
Tom's reccomendation for drip. I truly do not see the difference in the =
grinds vs my cheapo auto grinder. In fact I see more boulders w/ the =
Zass then I do w/ the cheapo. I have turned the nut CC all the way until =
it locks then CW one turn. I hav'nt tasted the grinds yet.

If you see boulders, try and grind finer. I have not seen a grinder that=
grinds evenly when set too coarse. Good grinders produce less (no) powder,=
but not an even grind. Good grinders will grind evenly if you set the=
grind finer to eliminate the boulders. Ignore the instructions. Look and=
 experiment for yourself.
What method are you using to make coffee?
