I spoke with Starbucks people at a Chicago shop the day after the
"training", the coffee pourers said they were reeducated (1984 anyone) on
making espresso. The store manager said it was all about the "value
Proposition". Which to him meant increasing the price of Starbucks stock.
Definitely a PR program, but emphasizing quality coffee experience should be
beneficial to availability, even if it's not at Starbucks.

Joey,
I roast will an IR2 usually to City+ and I stop most of my roasts between
7:00 and 7:45. I've read that IR2's are notoriously inconsistent so your
times may be longer/ shorter and temps settings higher/lower. I found Tom's
discussions and suggested roast profiles to be very helpful. Enjoy the cup.
Ron
