Please report back on Kean.
Do they offer coffees beyond the Guatemala Antigua that the Dietrich family
used to own?
How is the freshness?
Do they do great espresso?
Please advise. Please advise. Please advise!

mmmm...Americano. So good. My wife got an iced caramel latte which was very
good too. It makes a huge difference when fresh coffee is used in iced
coffee drinks.
Yes Brett, they have many different coffees. In fact I didn't see any
Guatemala Antigua. I did see some Sumatra Blue Batak along with about 15
other types. All the roasted coffee had "roasted on" dates and all the ones
I saw were within 3-5 days.
I don't brew espresso at home, just FP and pour over, so I'm not that into
espresso. But I can say that my Americano was the best I've ever had. Much
better than at Kaffa, which used to be my favorite.
I highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be in Souther California.

Thanks Neal! I keep thinking I need to go there. I just never think of
it before I'm headed in that direction.
