I wrote last night that while preparing to roast the anokhi liberica, to my horror I received an Err6 which I understood from the manual to refer to a dc voltage prob. Today I had a surprisingly pleasant experience. I called the tech support number and Mr. Behm answered the line. Without any hassle whatsoever he said he would send a new behmor out right away and would make arrangements for my departed one to be picked up. Rarely ever have a had such a pleasant, expedient, competent "can do" response from any company. Where are you gonna find service like that? Alas, the soul of the anokhi cries out..."roast me, grind me, pull me and drink me." Dean De Crisce Sent from a Treo. The man is amazing and speaks well for the company. I just picked up a Behmor as a backup for my Hot Top which is aging. And, after everything else that recommends the Behmor the customer support is just beyond belief. Dean, iI haven't had any service needs yet, but once before and once after I purchased my BEHMOR, I talked to Joe about using his roaster and got very satisfactory answers. Joe is indeed very personable tp talk to in person. He also is quick to answer email inquiries. That kind of customer service makes for a long time loyal customer. While using my Behmor, I didn't have the chaff try quite in the right spot and caused the drum to hang up a bit, resulting in an Err 6 message - BUMMER! So, I contacted Behmor service (Bob) and got instructions on how to replace the DC motor. After reading the instructions, and seeing that others on the list had mentioned the difficulty of the motor swap, I decided to send my roaster to Behmor for the motor swap. (My close up stereo vision is somewhat limited because of several eye problems.) Bob replaced the motor within a day of receiving the roaster and shipped it back. It was done for the cost of the motor and shipping both ways. It was worth it to me to know the job was done correctly. Behmor service rocks!
