Topic: Coffee on a rainy Sunday morning (3 msgs / 70 lines)
1) From: Paul Helbert
Rained all night and it's still raining this morning. Seems silly to be
carrying water to animals in the rain; and my bread won't rise. Dad decided
not to go to church this morning (hasn't missed in ninety-four years) which
is a bit alarming; but I just checked on him and he looks pretty good. We
had a spring-like day and I think he overdid the wood splitting & hauling
yesterday.
Last week I ordered a pound of SM's roast of the week since it was one I had
in my stash. I roasted all of mine Monday so it would have the same rest as
theirs. UPS is scheduled to bring it tomorrow. I've been into mine this week
but will still have enough for comparison. This is the first time I've ever
had the Guate. Antigua YB rested past three days. It might have peaked
already, but still sure is good. If I ever order the roast special of the
week again, I plan to combine it with enough other coffee to get USPS
Priority flat rate, or pay extra (not likely for me) so it will get here
more quickly.
Peaked or not, this is good coffee.

Tell your dad he oughta be ashamed of himself. Actually I'm kinda glad God
doesn't take attendance! nor is there more than one question on the final
exam. LOL
90+ and splitting and hauling wood? I can only hope I make it that long.

O.K., thanks a lot. Now I'll never be able to use being tired or sore as an
excuse for not going to church. At least not until I'm in my 90's and decide
to chop some wood, lol...
