Hey Gary,
Depending on the degree of roast and how many days post roast, that
Blue Batak should develop some nice syrupy body, maybe toward the 5th
day. It won't be the thick, brooding body, but it should be nice.
If I recall correctly, you roast in a Behmor and roasted that on the
9th. What profile, times etc. did you use and to what level of roast?

I only nailed this coffee on the last roast. I did best by putting some
heat to it. I roasted several batches, but the one that was best was a 10
oz batch with my HG/BBQ and I hit first crack at 830 and end of roast just
shy of 2nd at 1215. Called it a Full City, and it was amazing after a few
days' rest. So not knowing much about the behmor, but that sounds like a P1
roast and see where it goes...
I tried some different profiles, but that was best. Better than slower
ramps, better than faster ramps. go figure. I was disappointed, too,
because I had been so disappointed by that coffee until the final roasts...
