No, it's not what you think. The other day I was sipping on my morning capp, made with Tom's Monkey Blend as I was sitting in a meeting. One colleague said "That smells good. Is it flavored?" Minor rant: What's the world coming to, when coffee that has a nice aroma "must" be "flavored"? (And while I'm ranting, why is it that flavored coffee is called "gourmet coffee"!?!?) =Spencer Roasting and drinking great coffee in Ann Arbor homeroast mailing listhttp://lists.sweetmarias.com/mailman/listinfo/homeroast |
Ah but Spencer, it IS flavored. It has chocolate over tones, bright fruit etc. All of these flavors are completely dead by the time your associate gets a cup of Stale Folgers. If there are two classes of coffee for sale, one is rotten stale and the other now needs a label, so Gourmet worked - besides Marketing can get more money for stale junk if they tell you its special.
