Topic: something a little different for me (37 lines)

Good day, all.
I am sure many of you, if not most, have had this bean, but for me it
is new and a nice surprise. Yesterday afternoon I roasted about 3/4
of a pound of Cameroon Camplami Java. I used the Behmor and a simple
profile for I wasn't sure where to start, basically, I just added
heat and let it go. I took it to what I believe is the very
beginning of Full City, maybe closer to the end of City+.
This bean need more rest time, but Tom's description, which I am sure
is influencing what I taste, is right on. There is a rustic spice to
it, but then the after taste is a not yet ripe blueberry, just a hint
of sour, but good.
I am guessing here, but to me it seems this bean needs to rest
another day or so, yet it is still very enjoyable. But, it reminds
me of last month when I was walking down by the Tidal Basin and the
monuments, here in DC. The Cherry Blossoms had the buds out and were
just opening. One could smell the fragrance, slight as it was. And
looking at the bud, one could see and imagine the beauty that would
be ours in but a few days or a week. That is what this cup of
Cameroon reminds me of. The beauty is just beginning. I am in for a
journey as it rests and brings me new flavors as the days go on. It
had been a while since I roasted due to three weeks of travel, so it
felt so good to get back in the kitchen and roast.
That's it. Just wanted to share a nice experience.
