Just opened design news and found the linked atricle below.http://www.designnews.com/index.asp?layout=article&articleidĘ6536515&industryidC651&text=coffee--
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

 From the article:
"...temperature deviations as small as 0.1 degrees F can create
noticeable differences in the roasted beans."
I find that hard to believe...

well, since the cafe business is really the milk and coffee business,
i think they need old bessie over yonder in the corner hooked up to
an automated on-demand milker that delivers exact quantities of milk
to the full auto espresso machine. i like the comment about
"untouched by human hands" http://www.roastingplant.com/tour/tour.php?photo=1i mean, everything about green coffee is about human effort, about
human hands. i love their system and fresh on-demand, but i also wish
coffee houses would remember to present all the human effort behind
the coffee. that said, it's very cool. now if the javabot shuttled
coffee on HO scale trains too and from the roaster, that would be
awesome!

Yep, that would tweak my fancy.

Yeah, I think he's inhales a little too much roast smoke.
