Speaking of grill/rk and control:
anyone have a good profile for sub 1#ers?
I see a gap in my setup (behmor + standard drum and RK)-- the tiny little yemens.
I tried a 12oz batch of sharasi just to try it out and it was awfully mixed from vienna to city @ about 9 minutes. Same and even more so when I did something else with bigger beans.
I've got an Rk in a fiesta 345 with aftermarket replacement burner.
What I would miss if I didn't have an rk? The rush of excitement of a huge batch of bean snapping crackin and poppin. I sometimes wonder if the behmor isn't too gentle on the beans and if they don't all crack audibly.
