Topic: Beards...Madrigals (4 msgs / 77 lines)

Dave,
Just curious...were you an actor or a musician in the Madrigal, or both? I,
too, have worn a beard since 1970 something, which has nothing to do with
madrigals, which I also enjoy (as a musician).

I've never been a musician. The only instrument I play is the stereo.
I had a beard for a couple months in the 70's, and for a few months
this year, but its gone now. My mustache has come and gone for years.
What does this have to do with anything at all???

Dave,
Always on the lookout for people with like interests...like roasting coffee,
for instance. Then, again, maybe the wrong Dave. I have a problem with my
email that doesn't allow me to reply to posts - I have to start a new topic.
Very aggravating.
Bob.

Both.
Actually I was looking to expend my 1 free elective credit of my grand and
glorious engineering education and saw a class in playing the recorder. It
turned out that it was a front for the madrigal performance. Having never
sang or, acted (and never since) they recruited and taught me since I
was the best 3rd bass they had.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
