I'm a regular at the local auto repair shop. I drive my cars till they die. The one I took in today has 182K miles on it. So I showed up this morning with my car to get a couple of new tires installed, Zassenhaus and briefcase in hand. The owner notices my Zass, and wanting to show me appreciation for my repeat business, he goes into the back room and tries to give me a new 1# bag of Arabian Mocha Sanani whole coffee beans. I politely thanked him, but declined, telling him that I roast my own coffee. He responded by saying, "then to you this must taste like old motor oil." He had no idea how close to the truth he was... I then made a bee-line to the office, where I immediately ground and brewed some Costa Rica Coop Dota Dry Process in my AP. Yumm. It pays to be finicky. -- Dave Kvindlog iHomeroast Cedar Rapids, Iowa Homeroast mailing list Homeroasthttp://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20">http://lists.sweetmariascoffee.com/listinfo.cgi/homeroast-sweetmariascoffee.comHomeroast community pictures 9upload yours!) :http://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20 |

Don't forget to include the SM URL :) I found myself chatting with my endodontist about coffee, so I brought him a bag 'o beans, Sumatran. On the next visit, he reported that he'd had to go buy a grinder, and that it was the best coffee he had ever had. He's been checking out SM, and I think he might be getting a roaster soon :) - allon Homeroast mailing list Homeroasthttp://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20">http://lists.sweetmariascoffee.com/listinfo.cgi/homeroast-sweetmariascoffee.comHomeroast community pictures 9upload yours!) :http://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20 |
