For those who are interested in such things, the following rather long 
article was in "The Washington Post" today.  Tom mentions this situation 
in the SM notes on Rwandan coffee.  This is an example of  great

see or read of another world to me and I cry.  I don't know what to 
do, I can pray, I buy their coffee, which I love, but I feel so

Thank you so much for posting this news article.  It gives us (me) a much
better appreciation for the blood, sweat, and tears that may go into
producing the coffee I loves, but whose producers I too often take for
granted.
