Hi All, I always try and learn from others experiences so here tis; Im a popper roaster and have managed valiantly to extend the time to first crack to around 6 minutes which I am satisfied with - I enjoy the coffee Ive roasted which I normally take to about 30 seconds after first crack - so that makes it a pretty light roast I guess - my question then is which coffees or group of coffees do best at a light roast? appreciate your input. Check Tom's cupping notes. I suspect you don't order from Sweet Marias, but still Tom has great cupping notes. I really like the Ethiopians light. Don't have a ton of experience with the western hemisphere... Lots of folks around here prefer that City+ as well. happy roasting! bill in wyo On Wed, Apr 30, 2008 at 4:02 PM, David&Marilyn Sheldon wrote: <Snip> Homeroast mailing list Homeroasthttp://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20">http://lists.sweetmariascoffee.com/listinfo.cgi/homeroast-sweetmariascoffee.comHomeroast community pictures 9upload yours!) :http://www.homeroasting.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20 |
