Topic: what to roast? (6 msgs / 149 lines)
1) From:
I feel like I am in a rut and looking for some advice. I need to roast
tomorrow or Friday, and seem to be in a cycle. If you had the following
inventory what would you roast? And to what level of roast? Give me your top
two or three and I will roast the top vote getters and report the results.
Thanks for your help-David

Heh, understand I make no claims of being a coffee expert, I just know
what I like. ;-) With that stash, I would roast the Sulawesi Enrekang
to FC, the Indian Mallali to FC/FC+ and the IMV to C+, and mix them 20%
IMV, 30% Mallali and 50% Enrekang Mt Alla. It is actually one of the
blends I have on hand right now and enjoy each time I drink it: drip,
FP or pour over.
Just my opinion. Your taste buds may vary.
Best Regards,
Ken B

Nice selection, I'd go for the PNG Kimmel at FC, the Sumatra to FC+ and I
enjoy Moka Kadir blend at a FC+ .
Enjoy!

I would send the Yirga Cheffe to me, then roast something else... ha ha ha.
No, Saturday I'm gonna roast the Yirga Cheffe to C/C+... mmmm.
So, if I were to rate them:
1. Yirg, C+,
2. Indian Tree Dried Natural FC+
3. Aged Sumatra FC.
Yum.
