I have been impatiently waiting for my stash to get down to about 1/2 pound
of greens and have been amusing myself, for about the last week, making a
coffee's list. I finally got to pull the trigger today. There are just
too many good coffee's to choose betwean.
1020-2 Brazil Carmo de Minas -Fazenda Esperanca -2 lbs
1016 Nicaragua Limoncillo Java Longberry Cultivar -1 lb
1054-2 Rwanda Gkongoro Nyarusiza -2 lbs
1084 SM's Espresso Monkey Blend -1 lb
1118 Sumatra Lintong Nihuta KVW Decaf -1 lb
1042 Ethiopia Harar Horse DP -Lot 17406 -1 lb
1058i Yemen Mokha Ismaili -1 lb
1058m Yemen Mokha Mattari -1 lb
1083 SM's Moka Kadir Blend -1 lb
Here are some of my notes.
Brazil Carmo de Minas Toms notes say "Wow","#1 coffee in the
last Brazil Cup of Excellence"
Nicaragua Limoncillo Toms notes say "(under a different name)
it placed #2 in the Cup of Excellence this year!"
Rwanda Gkongoro Nyarusiza SM won 2nd place @ SCAA, with this
Moka Kadir Blend My current favorite with my AeroPress
Espresso Monkey Blend I wonder if other espresso blends do well in
an AP?

Now that sounds like a nice way to start your new stash!! I am a bit
envious. I didn't listen to the warnings when I started this venture
about 10 months ago. I bought and bought and bought. All good, mind
you. But, as the only coffee drinker in the house, and traveling
about 1/3 of the year, plus being sick a good portion of the time I
have not gone through my stash as I thought I might. Though, I still love it.
I am down to 29 pounds, maybe a bit less. I had it up in the 55 lb.
range, so I am making headway. I still buy some when it is too good
to let go and one never knows, as I have learned, if the same bean
will be around the next season. No matter, this is not a complaint,
but rather a tip of the hat to you for placing such a great sounding,
and I am sure, tasting, order.
I will be ordering more soon, too many good beans coming in. And I
am roasting much more than I was when I was really sick. So, I don't
find my stash a burden, but a treasure trove instead.
