Cool, another Laphroaig fan! I've also tried their quarter cask and didn't like it as much as their 10 YO.
I like Bowmore also, but can't afford a 25 YO. Maybe if I gave up buying so much coffee? Coffee or whiskey? Hmmm.
Toughchoice. What time of day is it?

Great post Gary. I see from another post you're quite an accomplished
brewer as well. Life is too short for bad whisky/beer/coffee!
I agree with your comments about somebody defiling a single malt with
anything but water. While I will offer my coffee (biting my tongue) to
someone who might use cream or sugar they won't get near one of my malts if
I hear anything about "Scotch and..." They'll get a taste of the Black &
White from the back shelf. Not that I'm a snob or anything (mmm hmmm..) I
just figure they wouldn't appreciate good whisky.
Bob
