just roasted 8oz of the organic yirg that arrived yesterday. On the behmor...1/2 lb P3 with 1min 15 second added after start. Made a nice city/city+.
first double shot in the saeco was incredible lemony sweet. I thought...man this is wild...who wouldve ever thought a cup of coffee could taste like this.
I then made a full cup in the melitta pourover. Clean cup but very inferior flavor. Most of the lemon removed.
Tonight I will brew a fp pot before I go to work.

I hope people don't overlook this bean just because it's got the very
generic moniker of "Ethiopia Organic Yirga Cheffe". If you're a fan of
Ethiopians this one is not to be missed! Really incredible floral and
citrus, and amazingly aromatic! It's definitely going into regular rotation
at our house!
Best,
Kris McN

It's a really, really good lot, not a micro-lot, but it sold out at
the importer within an hour of arriving. And it's from the exporter,
Menno Simons, who is doing all our mirco-lots this year and vacuum
packed lots (arriving much later in the season though)

Tom,
You should consider a "Buy & Hold" program for those of us who would like to
buy more now, while it's in stock, but would prefer a later delivery, rather
than having to explain why yet another box from Sweet Marias is showing up
on the door so soon. :)

Seth,
You would only be delaying getting in "trouble." My favorite feature on the
shopping cart is the "delete" button. If Tom only knew what my order looked
like before I get it down to the "must" haves.

Wow, so true. I normally cut my order down to about half of what it starts at and even then I spend more than I really should. I don't think I would be living paycheck to paycheck if I had never found SM. Then again, my life would be a lot less fulfilling had I not found SM, so... win/lose? Neh... win/win(ish) is my vote. Haha.
