Bry,
You probably remember me from a visit with you last Christmas. miKe is onto
something here. I have seen first hand your Barista skills, not to mention
your roasting talents. You would not be with out work here in the PNW.
Scenery, best coffee in the world, beautiful girls your age to go with it
all. Oh did I mention the birth place of the second and third wave of All
things Coffee. A spell out this way would certainly be, not an application
for a jounney but the first step in a huge coffee experience.
Best Regards,
JoeR

No worries miKe and Joe(R), I decided when I was about 17 that my career path was going to be something coffee related. Going out to the PNW just seems to easy, haha. No, but seriously I am kind of a home body and, believe it or not, actually *like* living in SW Michigan. I am working for an awesome company right now and I feel like they are right on the verge of breaking it wide open. Unfortunately, I'm not quite making enough money so I have to find something to fill the gap, but I don't mind taking a hit in pay if it means working for a company that truly cares about coffee, cares about relationship coffee and is making every effort to move towards relationship coffees that it can afford. I think within 5 years Waterstreet Coffee Joint will be very well known (at least in the Mid-West area) and that perhaps you will start seeing some faces popping up in competitions and Barista Magazines. I guess we'll see, but I like the idea of growing with a
company verses just jumping into one that is already very successful. I guess we'll see how long I keep saying that while I am having to live more or less paycheck to paycheck, but hey, I was a barista before this, I know all about paycheck to paycheck, why should working in a roasting facility be any different right? Haha.
But thanks for the kind words guys, they really meant a lot.

Bry,
WaterStreet Rocks. Tell your boss I wore his shirt with pride to the Long
Beach SCAA convention year before last.
Great Coffee Shop. I will look forward to seeing you next trip out to visit
my grand kids.
Keep the roasters rolling and roasting.
