You can buy a whole Cuisinart (non commercial) burr grinder for $20 at Big
Lots. I might be reconditioned, but probably has guarantee.

That's Casa Grande in Quito, no?

$30 to repair a grinder, a gear motor turning a set of burrs? It's a
universal motor and now has new brushes- maybe. I got motors like that to
run temporarily by stretching the brush springs. There used to be a number
of suppliers that had odd replacement brush sizes.
Higher quality universal motors have embedded conductors called shunts in
the brushes, among other things. Hammer mechanics lose parts, cross-thread
screws and leave out parts like washers and lock washers. Sorry you found
one. The motor's days are numbered.
My spare grinders all found new homes when I got the Mazzer. I'm no help.
