That's terrible news.  What Ron has done for large-batch homeroasting by way of his drums ought not to be underestimated; it has not only allowed me to roast more, but has tuned my roasting skills in ways that the Poppery & SC/GG roasters didn't.  He has also provided heaps of good information & advice.  He truly is a brother in coffee...
