Topic: Nesco roaster (30 lines)
1) From: PAUL RIFKIN
I have been using a Nesco because of changes in living circumstances and ne=
eded to have as little smoke and smell as possible. Prior methods; wok, hea=
t gun and popper all worked fine as I roasted outdoors. Can't do that now. =

The nesco is used in a second bedroom. Closed door, opened windows and fan =
on prevent excess lingering coffee fumes and there is no smoke per se.

Batches are approx. five ozs. raw and 4 ozs. roasted. As I am the only coff=
ee drinker in the menage, no problem doing three roasts a week and having a=
dequate supply. Coffees do not all taste or smell the same. Obviously I c=
an't adjust temp etc. but the excellent beans and th freshness of the produ=
ct are compensation. To buy finished product like this from a local roster =
is not possible. To purchase from a fine internet providor is costly. If yo=
u need to avoid smoke and smell the Nesco is a fine choice. =
