Topic: Behmor Poll-P.S. revisited (2 msgs / 39 lines)
1) From: Bernard
The P.S part of this thread wondering about other folks cold running
Behmors started here I would like to express thanks to all those who
piped up about this. Most informative. Yes, my machine is one of the
first. Since there was much talk about household voltage I simply
assumed that to be the case here and made appropriate accommodations w/o
pestering the company. I did the recommended cleaning cycle and sensor
maintenance. I love my Behmor even as it is and would replace it or
recommend it in a heartbeat. Alchemist's comments (and others) are well
taken and are a testament to the good will and probity of Joe Behm and
the company. It appears that this quirk has been fixed in newer
machines but I am still curious why this machine and some others "run
cold". Doubtless these posts are watched and noted. I roasted the
remaining 1/2 lb of last year's hoarded Guatemala Gesha this morning
knowing that some of the new stuff....not the Big Buck items.....is on
its way. Half pound/P3 (one lb setting) and had time to spare for C+.
All those growers should plant Gesha. Bernard Gerrard

That was the question that I asked: why are some machines running cold?
I also have one of the first batch that SM sold and it does not run
cold. I just thought someone who knows the answer would come forth with
the information. I just do not see much point in bothering a person who
is trying to run a business with this type of question unless I am
having the problem.
