Ethiopian Koratie - Dry Process. Roasted 8oz Monday night in the Behmor and=
rested ~36 hours. Used 1/2#, P1, A. If my memory serves me correctly, I hi=
t 1st crack at 10:00, 1st ended at 11:30 and thats where I stopped the roas=
t. Coasted to a nice C+. I was surprised to see a few shiny specs on some o=
f the beans last night. I don't think I've ever seen that with a light roas=
t...especially after 24 hours rest.
Man, first thing I noticed when I started grinding...blueberries! It's my f=
irst blueberry experience and I was thrilled to have hit the mark. I brewed=
using my Hario ceramic dripper...the smells were amazing. I brewed direc=
tly into my Nissan travel mug and went out to the car. When I opened the li=
d, my whole car took on the smell of blueberry pancakes. Unmistakable. Blue=
berries and syrup. As it cooled a bit I could start tasting the fruit. I'=
m excited to see how it changes with more rest. I also can't wait to try so=
me in a proper mug when I get home. Glad I got 5lbs (with 5lbs of WP on t=
he way).

Ethiopian Koratie - Wet Process.  It's a nice cup of coffee, but I don't
think I'm picking up all the nuanced flavors Tom mentions.  I'm looking
forward to trying a second roast and maybe going a little darker (I stopped
this one at a C/C+).

I will say this, the Koraties smell absolutely great when you grind and brew
them!
