For anyone concerned about the shipping time to the Eastern US......I placed
an order on Friday and received it today. Flat rate box $7.99 shipped to
Western New York State.
My last 2 orders were both delivered in 3 days...you can't beat that for the
price.

I placed my order on a Friday and received it yesterday, but this was
a 10 day wait, not 3 ;) To be fair, my order was the Gesha lots, so I
don't know how much of this was packing time and how much UPS time,
but I believe the lion's share was UPS. And this isn't to podunk
town, it's to Boston, so I'd have expected it a lot faster =/ It's
still a great deal, but if I want speed, I'm paying the extra 4 bucks
and getting it here in 3 days :)

USPS Flat Rate Box orders have always arrived extremely fast to my rural New
Hampshire home - most in just 2 or 3 days! This last order was placed on 8/7
and arrived on 8/11 (there's a weekend in there too). UPS from the west
coast always takes much longer.

Floyd,
I'm just outside of boston and my last order came USPS and arrived in only a
few days, must faster than previous orders with UPS, which seemed to be
about a week.
Which Geshas did you get and what do you think of them?

I have found my orders arrive 2 days after being shipped via USPS. The box is always sitting outside my door. I have had itermittent problems with UPS. I live in a condo with a locked front entrance. Many timoes all I find is the slip saying delivery was tried but couldn't be made. Meaning I have to schlep down to UPS facility 25 minutes away to pick it up the next day. Never have a problem with USPS.

San Francisco to Boston is either 4 or 5 days via UPS and that's
guaranteed or your money back.
If you want to know how long UPS takes, go to www.ups.com, choose
ship and then time in transit. That will tell you how long it takes,
if it takes longer than that, the shipping is free if you pester them
enough. My experience and I've been shipping 4 or 5 packages/day for
the last 6 or 7 years is they are almost never late unless their
trucks hit closed roads because of snow. Some routes when you choose
3 day commonly make it in 2. I've been ordering from Digikey.com for
years and every single 3 day order I've ever made has shown up in two days.
