Topic: East Coast Shipping [was Priority Mail] (38 lines)

Living on the East Coast (Raleigh), my experience has been that USPS is the
best way to ship SM beans. UPS takes forever, and I'd rather have my beans
resting in my cool pantry than on a hot truck for an extra week. Seriously,
UPS can take a week longer, and it costs more. In one case I shipped an
order UPS (had a couple of non-bean items) and a buddy of mine ordered two
-days later via USPS. He got his order two days before me! That finished UPS
for me for SM orders. I will go with USPS Flatrate. But YMMV elsewhere.

I placed my order on a Friday and received it yesterday, but this was
a 10 day wait, not 3 ;) To be fair, my order was the Gesha lots, so I
don't know how much of this was packing time and how much UPS time,
but I believe the lion's share was UPS. And this isn't to podunk
town, it's to Boston, so I'd have expected it a lot faster =/ It's
still a great deal, but if I want speed, I'm paying the extra 4 bucks
and getting it here in 3 days :)
