The 20 pound order of sleepers recommended by Les and the RIP arrived
today. Ordered Monday, shipped Tuesday and the USPS Flat Rate box
arrived in east central Alabama this morning. Off to read the page
on roasting the parchment coffee and roast a pound of it an one of the
sleepers.

Les,
Actually, I have been buying a lot of coffees that you praise on
the list for years now and I find that except for the really bright
coffees, which I know I am abnormal in not liking that much, I am yet
to be disappointed.

Hey Jim,
You're not abnormal. Though I am relatively new to homeroasting, after 20+
lbs I am with you when it comes to bright coffees.
Thanks to Tom and Maria we have easy access to some of the best coffees in
the world and can keep on trying new coffees and having new experiences. I
have always loved coffee. My dad used to make us Hungarian coffee when we
were kids. I've been drinking coffee for as long as I can remember. My dad
left us when I was 5 yrs old. Without SM's I would not be able to really get
to know what my true likes and dislikes are. I also know that our tastes
change over time so who knows maybe in a couple of years I'll prefer bright
coffees.
