Also, the recipient of the tradition agrees to offer another tradition
to the list.
That way the good neighborliness keeps going.
Not sure how it works if there is no drawing, or if the recipient agrees
to pay postage.
IMHO, I think I am even, as I have won quite a few traditions in the few
years I have been on the list but, every once in a while I will offer
another, just in case I am behind in my giving.
I have not heard that anyone is keeping track, but it is a fun thing to
do and I hope it will keep going.
IIRC, the tradition first started with the postage being paid by the
winner. This progressed (?) until the giver supplied both the gift and
the postage, unless it was outside of the USA and postage would be
required to make up the difference.
