This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Hi, I just bought an Alpenrost from DailyGrind.com, but, no one ever knows how long a thing like that has been in stock on a shelf. How can one tell which version of roaster one has (new, old, or now v.3 as recently noted in a post here)? Thanks, Lucy Peters
Since you didn't buy it from Sweet Maria's you might direct your question to the daily grind!
This is a multi-part message in MIME format. From what I've read about the new Alp's limited availability, I'd say you have a good chance that it's not the new improved version. I haven't seen anything (yet) that would physically tell us which one is old versus new (maybe Tom knows). I have an old one and would be happy to compare any exterior differences or markings with someone who has the new one. Coffenut :^)
